Barbara Kiss' New Addictive Tune "Catch Me"

With a catchy, addictive tune, Barbara Kiss' "Catch Me" blends the best of pop rock and alternative and can easily become the next pop hit. The single's simple lyrics complements Kiss' innocent declaration of love. Her soft voice adds to the foot-tapping guitar rifts and is almost reminiscent of an 80s or 90s pop song, inspiring a great deal of nostalgia. The video features Kiss in black and white back-drops and her wardrobe widely varies. The transitions between a snowy outfit and a gothic get-up highlights the bitter sweet dichotomy of teenage love. The highly singable melody and fun video makes this a very enjoyable song.

MusicDishTV Presents "The Controversial/Purple Thang" By Cocky Da Homo MC

"The Controversial/Purple Thang", from artist Cocky da Homo MC, is actually one of several of his videos that are available on YouTube. He does not appear on this video at all, but the listener is treated to the tracks from his recordings. In one video, he states, "Black people tell me stop comparing us to them". That does not take into account gay Black people, but hey you want your 15 minutes of fame, show us your artistic skills. The music emulates what's hot today, the synthesizer and bass parts are proper, and the drums are mixed and produced for a big sound. Music video is vital to present and represent one's message and music. If this artist is indeed serious about issues for gay hip hop artists, then I hope the next video will be "broadcast ready" because "the world" wants you to bring it for real!

MusicDishTV Presents "Tennis Girl" By Rock Act Black Vendetta

Rock group Black Vendetta's "Tennis Girl" is a soft rock mid tempo track that lures you in with a creative video in which a black and white visual of an "animated" person is seen in various stages of thought, as well as having a smoke and holding up placards giving information about the band. Technology is at its coolest in this fun and very entertaining way of enjoying "Tennis Girl". The lead vocalist has the perfect voice for the track, and the song is catchy with great breaks and hooks, backed up nicely by guitar strumming and bass. This is one cut that will get into your head, and you'll love every minute of it.

MusicDishTV presents Francis Bowie's "Art Zoo"

Francis Bowie’s song and video “Art Zoo” is an up tempo pop rock track that is definitely a song you’ll want to play when you’re in the mood for having a good time. Catchy, cool, and fun, the video begins in black and white, showing a young lady playing with several items with a twist of magic, as well as the lead singer in a vocal performance of the song. The video is played at a fast pace, which is in keeping with the “fun and frolicking” nature of the song. Masks, makeup, wardrobe changes, and all things “different” are the hallmark of the video. The video changes to color about halfway through, but never loses its pace or creativity. It’s all about fun. Do you feel it like I do? I bet you will!!

MusicDishTV presents 'African Zombie' by Alex Boye

Alex Boye's "Zombie" is a big video with a beautiful damsel in distress and a lot of gore. It's a well-produced, very professional, and creative screen play that's interesting and fast paced. The song itself is performed with great passion and conviction and a set of very musically strong pipes. The satire of the song and the video don't detract from this singer's strong voice and star potential. The music is great, and the beat is danceable. Just in time for the holidays, Boye has provided us with a fun and interesting production that is being hailed as the new "Thriller."

Prince Malik's New Club Anthem "So Bad"

A club anthem is a song that everybody can instantly relate to. You can sing the hook because it's easy to remember, and dance to the song as well. And what could be simpler than the idea of wanting someone? Prince Malik's new single and video, "So Bad" tackles the issue in a very entertaining and danceable way. The video follows Malik as he's driving along. A beautiful tall woman in a red dress is crossing the street and they make eye contact, then she gives him warm smile. He immediately gets out the car and follows her to the VIP line into the club. The vocals have the current computer effects and the music track is a bass pounding electronica style. The scene cuts are tight with high def and attention to details like lighting, slo mo, and casting "A" list models. The production on both the studio track and the music video are excellent. How could something "So Bad" be so good? View it for yourself and see!

'Nobody Dies' By French Heavy Rockers Harmonic Generator

Harmonic Generator's "Nobody Dies" is a heavy metal heavy hitter. With a funky groove, banging bass, and a lead singer who was born to sing metal, this track is the epitome of cool. A great video is always the perfect complement to a great song, and this one doesn't fail to please. It's a full color, well produced performance of the song, and there's enough energy and friction in it to light up a city. The band is outstanding and the video is captivating, thrilling, sexy, and a little dangerous, but remember - "Nobody Dies". Recorded and produced at Thirty Mill Studio in Melbourne Australia by Mark Opitz and Colin Wynne, the video was shot in Marseille France by Akil of Jam City Productions.

MusicDishTV Presents "Working For The USA" By Americana Rocker Steve Cooke

Steve Cooke's "Working For The USA" is listed as Americana Rock, but I also hear some southern rock coming hard like the Bruce Springsteen sound. Cooke sings a very inspiring song about the USA and the working class who are the backbone of this great nation. He's a very good singer with a strong a passionate style and a mighty stage presence on this video. Shot in black and white, the video is full of color and life from Cooke and his group. The song is strong, uplifting, empowering, and is one that can touch all the workers of the USA. With a hard driving sound that slows at times to allow a sweet harmony to shine, "Working For The USA" is a song that can't and won't be contained. It's explosive and powerful, and very timely. Cooke really delivers the goods on this one. Both lyrically and musically solid, the song and video are highly inspirational and entertaining, as well as being thought provoking. The video is full of shots of real American people working and the intended connection is very well made. This is very high quality production with outstanding performances from Cooke and his Band. It's an easy sing along song, while its patriotic theme carries a positive message to bring hope, work and happiness back to America's people. http://www.steve-cooke.com

MusicDishTV presents 'Touch Yo Body' by R&B Singer Jey Gibbs

Jey Gibbs is a treat for ladies with a smooth style and strong, sexy look. He definitely has what it takes to be a sex symbol on the big stage. His style on this song is very smooth with an alto voice that really sounds good. The video is full of shots of beautiful bodies, sounds, and scenes. From the beach to the streets, the scenes move along well with the music and the song, which is a very erotic and sexy cut. The lyrics are well written and passionately sung by Jey. This is a quality video and performance from what looks like the next sex symbol to take the musical throne. With a voice that will make women swoon and good looks to match, Jey Gibbs is the real deal. Check him and his music and video out. You won't be sorry that you did. http://www.jeygibbs.com

Some people like Rock n Roll. Others like reality shows. MusicDishTV Presents "Coupe De Ville" By Si Cranstoun

Si Cranstoun and his band perform the song "Coupe De Ville" lives at the Balajo, Paris in this video that's rocking and rolling and providing a good time for everyone in the listening or watching vicinity. The song is catchy, piano solo is remarkable, and Si Cranstoun has just the right vocal style for this song. Harmonies are well done, and it will be a miracle if you can sit still or down while this hot little number is playing. The video has a retro "Happy Days" look and it works well visually, where we get to see Cranstoun and crew seriously jamming. A black and white image of a lady who is definitely from the 50's is shown intermittently throughout the video, giving it even more authenticity. "Coupe De Ville" is a good time, good mood, good feeling song that's catchy and well performed and produced. You'll be singing it before you know it. The song it available on iTunes, but don't forget to catch the video. It is definitely a show not to be missed. http://www.sicranstoun.com

MusicDishTV Presents "Got A Light" By Bluerays

The video "Got A Light" by Bluerays makes it abundantly clear that these guys have talent. The lead in the band pays great respect to Michael Jackson in the manner in which he pulls off his dance moves, and the inspired moonwalk which he has mastered. The video has an overlay of a shadow of Michael Jackson dancing. A vibrant blue light then enters the lab, where the lead singer, posing as a chemistry lab worker, is transformed by the light into an entertainer when the light enters his heart. This video has very clever use of symbols and special effects. Pop music fans in India should be very proud of this band who represents them so well and has such great potential. The music is uptempo with nice use of keyboards, and drums that are played with skill, responding well to the bass. The video edits are clean, and the locations include enthusiastic high tech workers, amazing trees, and dancing on rooftops with Jackson style choreography, and happy children. There's a future for this band if they want it, they just have to keep striving, These guys could go places. http://bluerays.bandcamp.com

MusicDishTV Presents "Molly Ringwald Is Dead" By Alternative Band Love Supine

"Molly Ringwald Is Dead" is a video featuring the new song from Love Supine. It opens in the middle of a gathering of trees, as a mysterious sound heralds in the lead vocalist who is fading into view in the distance. The colors are almost black and white with a very washed out effect. In contrast, the rock band's down beat and the power chord of guitars bring this song to life. The singer is fascinated that the 80's teen star Molly Ringwald has opinions and thoughts that he didn't expect from her. The tempo is danceable, and the vocal style a bit like Fred Schneider of B52. The lead singer and guitar are the only players in the video, so there are effective cuts to the scene in synch with the music. "Molly Ringwald is Dead", has a dark humor to it, and should be perfect for Halloween.

MusicDishTV Presents "No Place Like Home" by Infiniteloop

Infiniteloop's video "No Place Like Home" begins with bright orange flares that burst in tempo to the beat as it cuts to a crowded club and Infiniteloop plays in black and white strobe. The lead singer has very interesting lyrics, "I wanna know how long forever lasts", and he's backed by a trio of drums, bass, and guitar. The contrast of the visual to the lyrics is an attention grabber. "There's no place like home you've got one", is being sung, while the video footage shows homes being blown away during atom bomb testing. As the song asks questions about if they could be happy together, the video cuts to the band in black and white, and the bomb testing footage is bathed in a deep burnt orange color. It has a good look to it, which is probably hi def. The alternative style has some clever audio inserts of old radio ad of the 1950's over the top female voice saying "Hit the record button". Dancing to this song will be fun because the mix and the tempo are perfect for turning up your speakers, and the song is an upbeat love song. The video production is excellent, and the editing, and graphic effects are brilliant. You don't have to be humble about this. "There's No Place Like Home" is a cool video, and one that is definitely worth watching. Infiniteloop has a very radio friendly sound to their vocals and music. The mix is clean, and the singer is easy to understand with his own unique style of phrasing. Job well done!

"Never Listen to Rumours" by Honest Plain John

Just one watch of "Never Listen to Rumours" tells you it's a who's who of British Rock Royalty displaying how it's done when you've got a great band, and each member has made a name for themselves: Casino Steel, Michael Monroe, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Martin Chambers (The Pretenders), Sami Yaffa (Hanoi Rocks), Verden Allen (Mott The Hoople) & Darrell Bath (The Crybabys). The video begins with the sax player jumping on stage with an incredible red saxophone. Before a word is sung, they are pounding out power chords and the band sings a vocal hook in unison. Visually, the band is complete with 3 scantily clad female singers; all the guys have their own style of stage clothes that emanate rock star swag, with 2 Keyboard players - one on piano, and the other on the Hammond Organ. Completing their wall of sound is tenor sax, 2 guitars, electric bass, and drums. The video captures their performance on a soundstage without an audience, but they play to the viewer. The song talks about friends you can drink with, but gives a warning that one must not trust everything people say. The groove is strong, and the attitude is street smart. The rock sax solo, and guitar all add to the great vocal performance from the lead singer - the impressive Honest Plain John. This one's a keeper!

MusicDishTV Presents "Tell Me What You See" By Rock Group Death By Chocolate

Rock group Death By Chocolate's new video "Tell Me What You See" is very visually interesting and stimulating. With time lapse slow motion, a beautiful woman, and violence with a S&M twist, this video captivates. A very upbeat rock track with hard pounding sound accompanies the video quite nicely. Death By Chocolate's "Tell Me What You See" is well performed and produced. The lead vocalist's voice and style is more than ample as he delivers on this jamming song. With the band rocking hard, this cut is a winner. They add a little Indian melody and all kinds of hard core treats. The video is humorous and entertaining (and steaming hot) while the music is hard core and shows just how rock is supposed to be done.

MusicDishTV Presents "Sunny" By Pop Singer-songwriter Kelly Waters

Kelly Waters "Sunny" is a really amazing video. First of all, she has a rich, beautiful voice, and her ability to use it as an instrument is extraordinary. On this particular track, she uses a vast and impressive vocabulary as she delivers the message of her song, which is one of love. Kelly sings about the love she feels for the guy that has made her heart throb. Then there's the video with her singing and making muffins in the kitchen while she exudes sexiness as she reads the dictionary dressed like a librarian. Her style is that of the eccentric girl that you just have to love because of her ways. Her video and music are lovely and I really liked the presentation. Both the song and video are very well performed and produced. "Sunny" is definitely bright!

MusicDishTV Presents Southern Rock Music Video "Everyside" By Eliot Wayne

Eliot Wayne puts on a guitar clinic in his new powerful southern rock track 'Everyside'. The smooth country vocals blend perfectly with the chugging of Wayne's heavy rock telecaster. The video is great within it's simplicity, as it has Wayne playing the entire song from his patio. Not being distracted by anything else on the screen, the viewer is able to truly focus on the raw emotion displayed by Eliot Wayne. The song's about falling in love, and his lyrics are so moving and so powerful. But let's not forget the awesome guitar lines! When Eliot Wayne goes into a guitar interlude, it's hard not to be completely blown away by his skill. This is a well made video and a must see for southern rock fan!

MusicDishTV Presents "This Old Radio" By Alternative Harpist Anna Cate

"This Old Radio" is a harp-based indie track that combines both subtlety and emotion. The entire video focuses on Anna Cate playing her harp and singing the song in her living room. This gives a certain intimacy to the song, kind of like getting to hear a private performance with no one else around. She sings about this old radio, one that a loved one used to play her favourite song on. The cinematography suggests that there is a longing in her life, perhaps for a life she used to have. The shaky, indie style of the camerawork allows the viewer to feel her distress and see that she truly means every word that she sings. To accompany the voice, she focuses much of the video on her fingers playing the harp. Her hands move with such grace and makes such a difficult instrument seem easy to play. Anna Cate's video is certainly one not to be missed.

MusicDishTV Presents "Fallen" By Americana/Country Rocker Eliot Wayne

What a way to capture a solid rock band! The producers of Americana/country rock Elliott Wayne's "Fallen" did a great job shooting this driving quick tempo song with well-placed cameramen, with the first stage right, the second stage left, and another behind Elliot and to the left of the drummer who was giving the performance of a lifetime. Another camera in front captured the energy of the band with close ups of Elliot's guitar as he played with passion and intensity. The edits were excellent, adding to the energy, and excitement of "Fallen". The harmony on this song is powerful with strong open intervals between Elliot and the backup vocals of his bass player. The guys were dressed "garage band" casual, but be advised, they are most definitely a strong rocking trio, and it's hard to believe that they were unsigned in 2011! Kudos to Producer Chuck Miller and editor Alex Henley for very smartly done cuts on this video.

MusicDishTV Presents By "Livinin Love" KC Jockey

As a tribute to "the soldiers who died fighting for our country," KC Jockey's "Livinin Love" music video is the story of a soldier who deals with losing and gaining love. Being at war in Iraq causes his girlfriend to grow impatient of being apart and break up with him, but once he returns from war, love conquers all. The soldier returns to the smiles and cheers of his beloved family and friends, as well as into the arms of his apologetic girlfriend. The scenario makes you wonder whether or not the girl would stick around if her boyfriend had to return to war again...

The positive message and optimistic vibe of the actual song is unexpected after watching the soldier and his girlfriend argue and break up at the beginning of the video. With a rhythmic and dynamic percussion, "Livinin Love" speaks about being in love and being thankful for what you have. It is a feel-good anthem that could brighten anyone's day by encouraging them to just smile and be happy. The downers, pessimists, and ungrateful beings of the world should take a listen to it in hopes of recovering from their dark days and moving on with their lives. As for our valiant war heroes, after being exposed to so much hate and violence, and defending their nations so that the rest of us can live in peace, "Livinin Love" shows them what they're fighting for and what we wish for them.

MusicDishTV Presents "Hello" By Award Winning DJ JP

"Hello", a new animated video from the award winning DJ JP, explodes onto the screen with a massive bass and Electro pop track. The low voice speaks in English, and it's very humorous and entertaining with very simply drawn characters moving around on a black background. The bass has an elastic sound, and a moving line that sounds like a jazz walking bass. A little man in a hat is searching everywhere as he walks past the country side flowers, and through the rain storm to find someone he's trying to talk to, but can't hear. The music becomes more intense as the kick drum and high note keyboards keep climbing higher in tension, and the poor little man just keeps trekking through the city traffic. Ahhh, finally the payoff comes as night falls, and our hero is joined by many friends that came to dance, and party! "Thanks for coming!". This will be perfect when fans come to hear JP spin at one of his shows! Smartly placed social buttons are on the end of the video for social media sites, offering fans numerous ways to connect with DJ JP.

MusicDishTV Presents Robert Nix’s “Walk Down The Street”

Robert Nix's video for "Walk Down the Street" is one that's difficult to explain, but incredibly pleasing to watch. He is a post-contemporary composer, but his music is so much more. The video follows Nix as he records the various instruments in the song, creating a fully experimental and pop-rock fusion track. He throws in some cut scenes of himself walking aimlessly through his home-city of Toronto to represent the theme of his song; being lost. The cinematography supports the theme as well, as the dissonance of the shaky camera certainly makes the viewer feel a little lost. The compassion in his voice and power in his presence in the video allows the video to almost attain a sense of spirituality.

All in all, this is a fantastic video from top to bottom. Robert Nix is a mastermind and he displays a true love for his craft. Teaming up with filmmaker Rohit "Badmash" Thakur was a terrific decision and "Badmash" certainly fulfilled his responsibilities.

MusicDishTV Presents "Everything's Going To Be Fine" By American Brit Rocker Barry Keenan

American Brit Rocker Barry Keenan's song and video "Everything's Going To Be Fine" are very good. Keenan has a great singing voice and does a fantastic job with this very touching and inspirational song. The video shows a young boy and his drawings, which depict the song's lyrical content about how in spite of all of the bad things going on around us, if we concentrate on the love that's inside each and every one of us, everything will be alright. It's very creative to use a child, someone who is so innocent, to convey something that seems to be so complex to so many adults. If a child knows this, why don't we? The lyrics are solid and Keenan obviously has a very deep connection to his spiritual side and with the word. The folk music and vocal performance deliver the message solidly and with conviction.

MusicDishTV Presents "Breath" By Sound Liberation And Chanda Rule

Sound Liberation, accompanied by Chanda Rule, has collaborated with Luma Launisch to create a beautiful artistic video for the song "Breath". This video juxtaposes two layers of video; the vocalist's emotional performance on one and a landscape style shot of an everyday city on the other. The artistic prowess of the video is made evident from the first dissonant synth hit that builds into a great indie-R&B fusion score. The vocalist demonstrates incredible power with a strong, confident singing voice. She guides the viewer through various cultures of the city, exposing the beauty in everyday life. This video is clearly a first-class production and the results is an amazing video.

MusicDishTV Presents KUNVUK - Rapture Pt 1 (Incite)

The official HD video for "Rapture, Pt. 1 (Incite)" from the Australian unhinged metal trio Kunvuk's second LP "Consume Rapture" is almost indescribable. The opening moments of the video with flickering shots interspersed with blackness brought up memories of the movie Paranormal Activity for some reason. Recorded in the rehearsal studio while the band was preparing for a tour behind the new album, the video captures the insanity and chaos that unfolds when the band launches into their music. The first half of the video is chaotic, full volume, and definitely hyped up to the max. In the second half of the video, the band begins playing a very cool sounding up tempo number that is definitely music that metal lovers will enjoy, and the "chaos" subsides. KUNVUK is a very talented band, and if rehearsals have this much energy, the live show must be one non-stop adrenaline rush.

MusicDishTV Presents "In Dreams With You" By Contemporary Singer Lily

The video and track "In Dreams With You" from the contemporary artist Lily, who calls the West Australian port city of Fremantle home, and has a rich Eurasian heritage, is a simple, but very engaging experience as viewers see Lily belt out the tune, which can only be described as country with soul. Lily has a beautiful, powerful voice, and this ballad, which includes a sexy guitar solo, and commands this song with the expertise of an artist who has passion and raw talent. The song is hauntingly beautiful, and it's one of the best and most memorable singles that I have heard in a very long time. The arrangement and production, combined with Lily's stellar vocal performance and the great musicianship of those playing behind her make this video memorable and the track one that is a must have. No matter what genre of music you like, "In Dreams With You" will touch your heart and soul.

MusicDishTV Presents "Winner" By Devotion

Christian reggae/hip hop artist Devotion's music video "Winner" is a visually engaging, inspirational, and encouraging video about being a "Winner" because of a relationship with God. Set to a hip hop/reggae grove with a nice hook, that's very nice. with a very inspirational message and a very nice hook. Devotion spits her rhymes with Christian lyrics done in a really cool and hip way. With a strong voice and presentation, she exudes positivity, presenting the image of a strong young woman whose life is in control because of The One who is in control. It's a refreshing look at the other side of hip hop, and Devotion is a natural at both the rhymes and video performance. The video unfolds to tell of a "courtship" where the guy is coming with game, and she is not the least bit fooled or conned into going for it because she has a self-confidence that comes from an inner strength that doesn't let you down. She is a smooth rapper and the reggae beat is very danceable. The groove is so strong that this could easily cross over to other musical genres. The video is professionally shot and very well produced.

Just at the right moment, rapper HD-Flat flows with skill, talking about some of the biggest mega stars in Hollywood. MusicDishTV Presents "La Messe Est Dite" By Jacques Pellarin

When you hear the accordion played for the first time, it's both a novelty and interesting. But when it's skillfully done the way Jacques Pellarin does it in his video and track "La Messe Est Dite", which is interpreted to mean (the mess is known as), it is a pleasure. The video provides visions of the beautiful French countryside with fields of grain and Jacques walking the land, with his accordion on his back. Scenes sometimes alternate to just a quick up close shot of the accordion being played. The music has passion, and yet it is simply a waltz, with Pellarin playing the lead, and accompaniment to a sad, but beautiful refrain. The impact and concern about nature is clear in tying the video imagery to his composition. His timing is impeccable, and his playing will impress you.

MusicDishTV Presents "Top 5" By MC Kublakai

Northwest born MC Kublakai's video and track, "Top 5," is a semi-chronicle of the young rapper's journey into the world of hip hop. It's a really cool, honest, and refreshing look into Kublakai's life and his discovery of the big names in the game of rap. "Top 5" is a tribute to hip hop and the artists who helped shape the genre and change the industry and culture that, like Rock and Roll, is now a huge part of the American way of life. Big props for this history lesson set to a deep beat. Kublakai flows effortlessly as he weaves a story of his own life and how it was impacted by hip hop, leading to much respect for it. He mentions and shows a lot of the greats from back in the day who made all of us wake up to rap and hip hop. The video is smooth and entertaining, and though it is most the young talent as he spits, there are other well placed visuals. Kublakai has a great sound, and one that is actually distinctive, which is both a rarity and a treat. And there's just something about him that makes you want to like him, which is probably the fact that he comes off as being very genuine. The video, which is professionally shot and produced, is very strong and accomplishes its goal of showing the great love that exists for the music and the connection hip hop music has to the past. This is an excellent video, and a very good performance from an artist that this reviewer would like to see and hear a lot more from.

MusicDishTV Presents "Wake" By The Rift

The Rift's video and track "Wake" is a well-produced, highly entertaining surprise. The alternative band starts this high energy groove out with just a little guitar and percussion that is very laid back and mellow. After a small pause, they light the house up with a fiery sound of rock that is second to none. The video shows the band performing the song, and it is a high octane performance indeed, changing tempos at least twice. The lead vocalist has the perfect voice for this track and he hits the high notes with strength and in perfect tune. In fact, all of the band members play with passion and fervor. Background vocals are great, and the band's style is actually reminiscent of Aerosmith. The band pauses the singing for an instrumental jam session, and they really put everything they have into it. Whatever else they are, they are musicians first, and it shows. Their talent is undeniable, and this is one of best songs, performances, and videos I've seen in a while. If "Wake" doesn't make you get up and dance or pump you full of energy, there's a problem.

MusicDishTV Presents "Trim Pounds" By Mr. Garth-culti-Vader

West coast rapper Mr. Garth-culti-Vader's video "Trim Pounds" starts off with Kanye West's song Gold Digger being played, and a young white man smoking while he cleans what looks like a club. He goes over to the turntable, then starts the music over, and while it is still Kanye's music, Mr. Garth-culti-Vader has put his own rhymes to it, telling about the marijuana lifestyle in California. The video alternates from that point between showing him rapping on stage and in the bathroom cleaning. A second janitor appears and immediately begins dancing. Overall, the spits are pretty good and of course, you can't go wrong with the music. The video ends with the owner walking in on Mr. Garth-culti-Vader standing there holding his mop, and admonishing him for doing so, stating "What are you doing? We've got a club to open." Oh well, guess it was all just a daydream, but at least it was a nice one.

MusicDishTV Presents "Typical Rock Star" By Shamarr Allen

"Typical Rock Star" by Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs begins with Shamarr walking into a record executive's office for a meeting, only to find out that there's good news and bad news. The good news is that the record executive promises to make him rich and earn him a Grammy, citing his past accomplishments and even taking credit for the success of Miles Davis. The bad news is, he wants to own him - get rid of his band members, cut down on the use of his trumpet, and change his looks. It then cuts to Shamarr and the Underdawgs performing Typical Rock Star, which is a serious jam, with Shamarr doing the vocals and an outstanding job on the trumpet. This rock jam, which incorporates rap as well, has a really great, universal sound that appeal to the masses. Clever lyrics, great vocals and strong music are all present here. Both the video and track are thoroughly enjoyable, completely innovative and this is one of those groups that breaks the rules and does it with style and finesse. If you don't see another video or listen to another song this year, you should check this one out.

MusicDishTV Presents Uncontrolled TV Show

Uncontrolled TV Show: Ep.1 - Powerhouseshow.com is a 30 minute TV show for independent recording artists, female singers, male singers, independent rappers, unsigned bands.

Email: tv@musicdish.net
Website: http://www.Powerhouseshow.com

It all begins with the video "Sin City" from Canadian rock artist Jon Mullane. First shown in black and white with the keyboardist's right hand beginning the intro to the song, it then transitions for a hot second to show a shot of a bridge and Sin city itself, then flashes back to the keyboards, which by that time are joined by the bass, guitar, and percussion. Once the full band has chimed in, the video focuses on Mullane walking the streets of Sin City while singing the melody, but continues the transition from that scene to the black and white keyboard playing and Mullane singing into a studio microphone. Mullane's raspy voice is great for this song, which is definitely powerful rocking hard. After a short guitar solo by Mullane, we began to see his musicians, particularly the guitarist, walking on the street close behind him to the fast paced rhythmic beat of the song. Lights and attractive, but scantily dressed females are featured on the streets of Sin City, who appear to be trying to catch up to Mullane. The song is so fierce that he could have just sat on a bar stool and sung it, and that would have been enough, but the video, combined with the vocals and music are a dynamic combination that will satisfy viewers.

The second video, "Inflicted Shame," is from the group Oblivious Signal, who is touted as a rock band on the edge. One watch of this video and you'll know that's true, but in a very good way. The video, shown in color, leads off with a guitar solo. It features the band performing this song, led by a hot female lead singer who gives new meaning to the words "Girls rock!!!" She gives a brilliant vocal performance and you won't find yourself missing a male voice, not even for a moment, as she blows you away with the quality of her voice, the passion of her singing, and her range. And yes, she has the look and attitude as well. The musicianship in Oblivious Signal is top quality, with a guitar solo that is second to none. It's well worth the watch, not only to see the band perform the song, but to watch the band's female vocalist pull out a can of "whip ass" on a guy much bigger than she who comes up on her from behind in an alley at night. The directed did a very cool and innovative thing with this video as they showed this part in reverse as we first see him lying on the ground, either unconscious or dead, and then he gets up and we see the fight (well, it was kind of a fight - he didn't really get very many licks in before hitting the pavement) from the end result to how it started.

After a quick promo/advertisement by Uncontrolled TV show, the third video begins and we are now at the scene of a boxing match, with the boxer's lady love in the audience all glammed up. It's Round 10, and as he looks up at her, all bloodied and bruised while putting in his mouthpiece, she looks at him and gives him a nod that says, "You can do this!!" The bell rings and the two competitors look each other in the eye while the referee gives them final instructions. The song begins, and the vocalist sings, "When I look into your eyes/I see the better half of me." Need I say more? Well, maybe you should know that the title of the song is "You And I" from pop/rock World5 newly released debut album, "Global Experience." Featuring the group's lead singer Don Bruner and actors Erika Fitzgerald and Kris Eklund, the video was shot on location at Rhino's Gym and at Rancho Buena Vista, and directed by Jim Ellis and Elias Acosta. After the first boxing ring scene, it cuts to where things seem to have started - with a young couple in love on vacation. We do get to see the vocalist and band perform, though the storyline is so interesting and meshes so well with the song's lyrics, you just want to get back to that! Fade back to the young lover getting knocked to the floor for what would seem like a knockout punch as he goes down. Once again, he looks at his love, and she nods her head and mouths "I love you." It's all he needs. After a quick fade back to the band, the next person to hit the floor (and stay there) is his opponent. Lionel Richie had it right when he said, "Love Will Conquer All." It certainly did in this case.

Video #4 begins with a slight reggae infused pop beat and vocalist Craymo singing, "We are all one" repeatedly. The song is "One Love One World (We Are One)," and the video is shot in black and white, which is the perfect backdrop of simplicity to keep the listener focused in the lyrics, which are powerful and thought provoking. This is a deep and touching song, and this world would indeed be a much better place to live in if everyone in it felt like the vocalist who sings it with such passion and conviction: "We are one love/We are one world/Put your hands together/every boy and every girl." This is a great song, a great vocal performance, and just an all-around inspirational treat!

The fifth and final video begins with a couple waking up in the morning, with the man arising first. The song is Fishori's "Hard Love," and while he's in the bathroom singing and shaving, the leggy blonde who was pretending to be asleep, gets up and sneaks out. She's nobody's woman and everybody's girl. Fishori, now fully dressed with a guitar strapped on, continues to sing while the vixen dances seductively around a hot red sports car that is nowhere near as fast as she is. He croons, "It's a hard love. You think I would know better. But I don't." If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what could. He's whipped, she's the whipper, and looks like he's in it come what may. The song is funky and spunky and quite enjoyable. The video, which is very well produced, complements it well.

MusicDishTV Presents "Feel So" By Erup

Jamaican reggae artist Erup's video "Feel So" features Erup spitting rhymes with authentic Jamaican style and swagger. The video alternates between scenes of Erup rapping alone and him with a pretty young lady who is the object of his affection. This song is about love as Erup tells you that it "Feel So" good and indeed it does, especially the way this young talent lays it down. Viewers are in for a treat as we watch while he tries to win her love. Erup has a smooth delivery and cool style, establishing himself as not just a rapper, but also one who sings a bit as well. His strong masculine voice will be pleasing to many, especially the ladies, and when you throw that sexy Jamaican accent in, girls - we just don't stand a chance! The music is fresh and interesting with an overlapping of mixes that have different beats and instruments that, combined with Erup's vocal style, produce a solid sound. This is a video and song that viewers and listeners will definitely enjoy as the reggae beat blasts out the heat and yes, it is definitely sizzling hot!

MusicDishTV Presents "Welcome To America" By Denae Gardner

Denae Gardner's video and track "Welcome To America" is an eye opening, in your face look about what our country is and has become. With her lyrically graphic descriptions, this is one political song and video that are right on point. Done in the country music style, Gardner and her band are serious. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that she's the Bob Marley of country music. Telling you about the reality of America today, using real up to date situations in her lyrics is one of her strong points. This video captivates you with scenes that are familiar to most of us who are even vaguely familiar with the news these days. The strength of Garnder's lyrical content cannot be overstated - she is good! She has put herself out there to be heard and, believe me, she's coming in loud and clear. This is an excellent video that is well shot, and the story it tells is profound. Her voice is very good, the band is excellent, and this could very well be a hit, especially with those who are socially conscious or aspire to be. Tthe music and flow of "Welcome To America" are very moving as this singer tells it like it is with a very emotional delivery and great style.

MusicDishTV Presents "Go All In" By LexRox

In Pop artist LexRox's video "Go All In," LexRox takes down a challenger in a video filled with boxing scenes and plenty of excitement and good music. LexRox is letting the masses know that if you think got the stuff it takes to be a pop star in the music business, you have to put in some hard work along with your talent for it to pay off ! "Go All In" is a summer jam. It's fun watching LexRox at a house party taking on Thumb Wrestling, Rock paper scissors, and Nerf guns, and coming out a winner against the other guy, who is not a good loser. The edits cut to the music breaks tightly. LexRox gives a great vocal performance on this tune and even raps a little. The track is pumping with intense keyboards and bass, great for dancing or just listening to for fun. if you have young music fans, they'll love this cut. I'd like to see her on rotation with Disney, as this young talent certainly has the goods.

MusicDishTV Presents "Take Me For A Ride" By Lea Marie

Pop princess Lea Marie has arrived with her new single "Take Me For A Ride". Both beautiful and talented, this pop vocalist's sound will make listeners wish that they were the lucky recipients of that request. "Take Me For A Ride" is from her recently released sophomore album "Undercover Lover," which boasts 6 tracks. The video for "Take Me For A Ride" highlights her charm, presence, and vocal abilities that are unquestionably good, showing her in scenes all over Hollywood during the day and night. Very well produced and entertaining, Lea delivers an awesome vocal performance that fits the mood of the track and video perfectly, as her band backs her up all the way. Right in the middle of the video, she changes on one of the breaks and sings in a slightly lighter, sweeter voice, which adds a dynamic to the song that viewers and listeners will find to be very pleasing. "Take Me For A Ride" grabs the viewer with its fast pace and good music. The young talent does the rest and by the end of the song, you'll be hooked. With a nice danceable, beat this song is really hot, and so is the singer. "Take Me For A Ride" is a pop lover's paradise.

Terrence Hamilton's video and single "Love Is Real," produced and written by Troy Davis and Hamilton himself, is about a man whose business is cramping his personal life with the woman that he loves as he tries to find a balance between the two song, I was instantly reminded of Boys II Men, as Hamilton has a comparable voice, which he wields as an instrument, delivering a stellar performance. The video initially shows a man torn between his schedule and his lady, and is followed by Hamilton singing the track. Every note is precise and pitch perfect. A female singer who bears an amazing similarity to Mariah Carey's vocal style provides some accompaniment and does a great job at it, adding just enough flavor and accent to this love ballad. The arrangement is perfect, and it has a very ole school sound, which is the perfect backdrop for the song and message. Hamilton definitely has a future in the music industry and if he continues to write and record such moving songs as this one that contains a beautiful message, he'll go quite far. Fans of many genres will like this video and track, which could easily go mainstream, although it has an R&B base.

The video "Gimme Dat" takes a very interesting approach as the plot is laid out in a story form and the talented young rapper enters telling a deep, sobering, but very real story and asking the question that separates humans from the apes from which we supposedly evolved - Why? Why must things be the way they are? He then gives some very hard core answers that slice straight through to the truth like a knife cutting through butter. It's not Robin Hood, it's "robbing in the hood."

A serious mix of interesting piano, drums, synth, and percussion make this a message that is easy to listen to. The video director was very talented in aggressive in his (or her) approach. The music is one of a kind with lyrics that will captivate you, delivering the sad details about what's going on in the hood and describing the mentality of young brothers who do the terrible things with which our television screens and newspapers are bombarded. "Gimme Dat" is real talk set to music, and at the end, you will find yourself wanting to hear and see more, and you might just find yourself wanting the "bad guys" to get away. Nicely done.

The video "Girl, You're Free" is significant and sobering, detailing the struggle of a woman who is being abused. Knowing that there are people who really endure such trauma makes it a difficult, but necessary watch. It was tastefully and professionally done, and KC Jockey really accomplished his goal of helping to bring this cause to the forefront, as it's something that people rarely talk about, but should.

KC Jockey easily takes an unpleasant topic and delivers a song that is not only entertaining, danceable, and likeable, but deep and thought provoking. This is a song that both men and women can relate to, and should be appreciated en masse. Some will want to play it often as a source of strength and comfort. "Girl, You're Free" scores a perfect 10 on every level, and music lovers of all genres will want to add this track to their collection.

MusicDishTV Presents "Satisfy My Soul" By Dwayna Litz

In the video "Satisfy My Soul," Dwayna Litz performs a jazz swinging rendition of the song by the same name, which was first recorded by Ella Johnson in 1950. Dwayna's unique vocal style is well complemented by a terrific horn section, growling alto sax, and soulful piano backing her up all the way. The plunger trumpet solo is perfect as we watch Dwayna dancing to "Satisfy My Soul." Viewers will be reminded of Bonnie Raitt as they watch Dwayna's relaxed and confident performance.

The band arrangement swings with a New Orleans shuffle, complementing Dwayna with everything from stop time to a Louis Armstrong style horn solo. "Satisfy My Soul" will definitely satisfy both viewers and listeners, and will have you tapping your feet to the beat.

"Satisfy My Soul" is from the album "Counting Your Blessings," which is available for purchase at iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.

MusicDishTV Presents "Roach Clips" By Hip Hop Artist Dolo The Bandit

Hip hop artist Dolo The Bandit brings the party to you in the video "Roach Clips" with strong rapping and good music. The artist steps up to the home plate and hits a home run with this track. It's notorious and has a strong sound done in a way that only east coast rappers can do it that should be a big winner with viewers and anyone who likes to get their groove on.

"Roach Clips" is a well-spoken story that grips you with a mix that will make the whole club swoon together in party harmony. The breaks are right on time and the talent is more than obvious. The video shows every day people relaxing in their own particular ways (roach clips) and the story centers on the struggles of the artist as he strives to live his dream and have his desires, while he finds a way to relax and escape from the pressures of life and the pain of living in the cold hard city trying to make things happen when the odds are against you. Dolo The Bandit is a class act who gives a high dollar performance, and none who see this video or hear the track will be disappointed.

MusicDishTV Presents "Take A Number" By Pop/R&B Singer Baiyu

"Take A Number" by Pop/R&B artist Baiyu is a very refreshing track and video that incorporates elements of dance and hip hop with Baiyu's incredible vocals and style. This is an instantly likeable track that will appeal to music lovers of all genres who appreciate a great song. Well produced, it never lets up from beginning to end and keeps you entranced with the lyrics and beat.

Baiyu shows that she's both sexy and strong with her dress, attitude, moves, and performance. In the video, she sings the track in a variety of outdoor scenes - none of which are fancy, but it's not necessary to get her point across. The track is so lyrically strong, and Baiyu exudes so much sexiness and confidence that "props" and fancy scenes were simply irrelevant. Viewers will "Take A Number" to line up on the dance floor to move to this groove. It's one that will keep the club and party scene bumping, and is also perfect for just hanging out with the girls or guys or cruising down the highway.

MusicDishTV Presents Duane O'Conner's "The Hunt Is On"

Calypso superstar Duane O'Conner's video "The Hunt Is On" is full of energy, humor and fun as it addresses serious social and political issues. It's very entertaining, danceable calypso music, and in the video he gives a live, spirited, captivating performance at the Dimanche Gras 2012, parading and marching around the stage singing and entertaining the crowd in Trinidad while wearing a bulletproof vest over his suit. The brass section leads the way of the calypso band which has strong horns and vibrant background singers. The video was obviously shot with a camcorder, but this doesn't take away from Duane's intense charisma which endures from beginning to end. The video ends as 'Mr. Gibbs' comes onstage and Duane hands over the mike, only to be escorted (all in fun) from the stage. The crowd lights up and is under Duane's spell for the duration, hypnotized by his lyrics, the story, and the delivery of it. With performances like this, it's understandable how he dethroned Karene Asche at the Calypso Monarch competition, walking away with both the title and the $1 million that came with it.

MusicDishTV Presents "F--- The IRS" By Cutting Edge

In Cutting Edge's video, "F--- The IRS," directed by J. Fassler and highly entertaining, the band creatively uses stock footage of a concert they are not actually performing in to insert scenes of themselves playing and singing their song, which is an 80's style rock track, with synthesizers, great guitar solos, banging percussion, and horn section hits. Released on the Thunder Quest Records label, the video shows multiple images - all stimulating - including a packed and screaming audience, a variety of animated symbols and still shots, and scenes of Americans working hard only to have large percentages of their salaries given away to the IRS. The concept is captivating and the video and track are both enjoyable, satirical, and moving and grooving. It's a refreshing look at a deeply annoying topic and most Americans will pat their feet, snap their fingers, bob their heads, and laugh out loud to this video, which was perfectly done.

MusicDishTV Presents "Titanic" by Steve Orchard

Steve Orchard's video "Titanic" from the brilliant new age, instrumental music album "Undersail" begins with a ghost ship, slow harp introduction, waves, and a scene of a lone diver with rays of sun shining onto the ocean. Viewers will become captivated by pictures of this grand ship being built. Initially, the deck and wheel of the ship are first shown in pristine condition, but as the video continues, it becomes one big wreckage at the bottom of the sea while the music guides you along the journey, tugging at your heartstrings all the way.

The video and track allow you experience many difference feelings as you listen as secrets come to light and your mind connects to the music via images. The video is fascinating, and the pictures are touching and thought provoking. Strong percussion and a steady piano and harp grab you by the emotions and never let go as you feel yourself becoming part of the story, which is indeed a tragic one, but one that must be told nonetheless. It ends as it started, but with an ominous harp, and the waves are the last sound you hear. "Undersail" will be released by AD Music on CD and MP3, and available from iTunes and other major online retailers on April 13th.

MusicDishTV Presents "U & I" By Static

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Hip hop artist Static has released his latest track, "U & I," which is an emotionally touching video and song that may just become the theme for every man who has messed things up with a really good woman and wants another chance to make her understand that he loves and needs her. The lyrically powerful anthem and emotional and passionate scenes of the video help to convey the emptiness that goes with the territory of having loved and lost. With a grooving track that flows nicely with breaks and a great hook, "U & I" shows that even a warrior can be hurt by certain things, with his woman leaving him being at the top of the list. Pleasure and lots of it is the driving force behind NazB's video "Give It To Me Now." The video, directed by Shamsheed Sobha (Studio-S) is a very high quality professional one, and is so full of heat that you just might need a cold shower after watching it. With a strong, thumping beat, the base, keyboards, pipes, and drums provide the perfect backdrop for NazB's colorful and creative lyrics about having his desires fulfilled without delay, declaring - "Shorty, give it to me raw/Give it to me now".

Beautiful seductive women, fine cars, dancers, and a hot club scene work well together to convey the message that life is all about living it at the top and having what you want when you want it. No waiting allowed - if, of course, you can kick it like NazB. Visually stimulating, "Give It To Me Now" is racy, powerful and captivating. Though the message is simple, it is one that is delivered powerfully as NazB sets it off in both English and French, which has a reputation for being the language of love. His accent and tone combine perfectly with the pulse of the music to provide a video experience extraordinaire.

MusicDishTV Presents "Showroom Ready" By Millenium

You should dress for the job you want, not for the job you already have: If there's one outfit living this old business maxim to the max, it's Millenium. The Los Angeles-based group are making a big stride into the big time with the video for their first single, 'Showroom Ready'.

"Showroom Ready is about the immaculate lifestyle. It's how you choose to roll," says Millenium rapper Young Fit. True to his word, the band have produced a promo clip which bathes you in the dream-like sheen of silk, marble and crystal chandeliers - in short, the good life. Forget excess - forget face tattoos, gaudy grills, celebrity meltdowns and rehab. Millennium's vision is something more refined, purer - how to enjoy life. They say living well is the best revenge, and yet Millenium are nobody's foe. And in spite of the philandering, jet-setting and easy living celebrated by their promo video, they still end up, in its final minute, on stage as a band, performing to a flock of fans who are just waving their hands in the air and having fun. As vocalist K-King says, "Showroom Ready is one of those songs that just reaches out and slaps you in the face. It's entertaining, it's fun, it's pure Millennium."

Musically speaking, Millenium are also more down-to-earth than the competition. Rapper Young Fit, singer K-King and singer/composer Stryker are backed up by a live band: Monte McConnell (drums), Jiro Tanaka (bass) and Jasun Edelman (guitar/keys). Not for them the vacuum-packed sound of commercial R&B. The broad range of the individual band members' musical interests come into play in their collective songwriting; Jiro's skillful funk bassline is only the highlight of a fresh and tight musical package. And, bear in mind, 'Showroom Ready', is just the tip of a musical iceberg. Milennium's debut album, Game Changer, is set for release on May 1.
