Robert Lauri - "Blueland"

Robert Lauri's avant-garde/experimental video and song "Blueland" off his new album "Power In Heaven" takes you to a place far, far away, allowing your mind to be free flowing along the avenues of adventure and imagination with instruments overlapping and swirling together to form a tranquil harmony and a feeling of peace and tranquility. But "Blueland" is perfect for many moods – relaxing, being contemplative and/or reflective, working, or cruising behind the wheel of your car on a picturesque day. The flute, synthesizer, guitar and percussion provide the perfect backdrop for the striking harmonic piano foundation which repeats throughout the track, keeping the song centered and the listener entranced. "Blueland" has a strong Asian sound and quality about it, which only adds to the serene and natural quality of the song. The percussion really comes to life in the end, taking the track to a new level, where dancers move their bodies in sync fervently in a beautiful and rhythmic way.

In keeping with the theme of the music, the video shows nature in all of its splendor and glory, pictures of seemingly prehistoric and medieval times, pyramids, and ancient and famous sites. "Blueland" is an extract from the album Power In Heaven, which is scheduled for release at the end of April. Music and arrangements are by Robert Lauri, and video editing was done by Anna Clara Passarelli.

"I'm So Afraid" - A Duet By Diane Marino And Robert Lauri

The very talented ne Marino and Robert Lauri combine their musical worlds in an "international" duet of harmony and synergy in a French recording entitled "J'Ai Si Peur" (I'm So Afraid). The arrangements were done by Robert Lauri, who also composed the music along with Danielle Bennaim, with lyrics by Claudine Marousek-Dornhakl. The Marino-Lauri duet is unquestionably successful: Diane's voice complements Robert's beautifully, and the performance by both artists releases a magical harmony that tells the story of a couple who has been through the ups and downs of life and seen bad times, but who finally has found a love so strong and pure that they are finally no longer afraid anymore. Romantic to the core, whether you parlez vous Francais or not, you will enjoy this emotional and heart wrenching performance.

Lyrics: J'Ai Si Peur (I'm so Afraid)

I'm so afraid to see happiness vanishing

I know that trembling does not help

But how can we sleep quietly telling ourselves that nothing

Can take this away, not tomorrow, not ever

I'm so afraid that everything will break and die

In less than a day, in less than an hour

Quicker than we see flowers wither

I'm so afraid to see pain come,

To see misfortune invade our happy home

But how can we protect ourselves from torment, from the wind,

from the rain and anger and the demons of the earth

Oh, I'm so afraid that everything will break and die

In less than a day, in less than an hour

Despite myself, I'm so afraid

To be afraid cannot it harm happiness, our happiness

I fear it; however we owe him well

To have put a large blue sky in our life, our life

Beautiful words of love which shine upon all our days

Oh Now that far from us are the torments

Far from us all bad winds

The rains which wet springs

Don't be afraid don't be afraid of our hearts

Nothing can change the mood

To make evil with our happiness

Do not say any more I'm so afraid

Eclectic Artist Robert Lauri encompasses a wide variety of musical genres on his latest record 'United Souls'. One of his preferred styles is to mix hip hop with traditional music, whether it's classic or folk-roots music. The result is always convincing and his music is sure to surprise the ears of those who are listening to him music for the first time. Robert Lauri is also one of those experienced artists who know when and where to push their music, adapting it to the changing times and the new technologies.

'Bahia Dream' is a chilly up-tempo trip hop tune. The style is fresh and modern but the accordion gives you the impression of being catapulted on Paris' Champs-Élysées. The video gives us a shot of Mother Nature's many beauties.
